I met my love because I smiled at a spring morning…….

Yes, Akanksha, it is true I met him online….
Yahoo Messenger- am going to erect a statue to it.
It was all so sudden. A totally blind chat. He im'd me… and did not do the usual "a s l".
Why? Because he liked my id. And I chatted because I liked his. More importantly I was in office early and I had no work to do.
That's how we started.. and could not stop.
Our minds met, our frequencies matched across the realms of cyberspace.
A connect forged by an invisible yet unbreakable bond.
Yahoo to sms.. to phone calls.
I learnt he was a guy with the most wonderful voice, only the day he called me up. Before that he was just zeitgeist, just as I was joiedevivre.
By then, of course we were going to meet up.
I had got assigned to this project in the US- in Boise.
And then I discovered another strange thing.. we were in the same company, we had never talked about that either….
It was magical…
We met and instant chemistry…and the rest is history…

That's why my darling Daughter, you need to smile more often.

Because when I stood at that bus stop in Delhi, I smiled at the beautiful spring morning. The lady going by in the new Santro smiled back and offered me a lift. Glad to avoid the bus, I jumped in.
I reached office almost an hour earlier. And signed in….
