The set up was just a little too perfect.
Pretty princess in mortal peril.
Cruel stepmother- more maligned than malicious, in reality.
The rescuing part- it was a little too easy. Poisoned apple flying out, too simple an explanation.
And now I am beginning to have doubts about those seven roommates she had lived with.
