No squalling baby in a movie theatre
Impossible schedules
And perfect routines
Biscuits and fruit punctuality
No wandering off with other children
You might catch something
Besides you were different.

Nurtured you
Body mind and soul
School a necessary evil
The rest of the time
My time with you.
