The ninth and smallest
Now the First and largest
A little girl named
After the god of a bleak underworld
Controversy warmed
Smaller than the moon
With moons of its own
Largish asteroid?
No meteor this
Eccentric orbit.
Solar System to Kuiper belt
Does classification matter?
Planet or Plutoid
A journey around the sun
And reflected light
But “plutoed” becomes a word
And worlds beyond earth
And in the far beyond
Appear even if blips
On the human radar.
